Tribute To WJ's Heroics

Owing to somebody's incompetence in describing the greatness of this person WJ, i shall have to describe what happened in those magical 10 seconds of pure football. Difficult as it may be, it is the least i could do to thank the Gods for bestowing WJ upon the world of mortals, and also the Great Immortal WJ himself.

"Receiving the ball from the poor goalie David who has been converted from Striker to Goalkeeper due to his lack of skill, Weijie i mean WJ's, deft one-touch leaves the first defender stranded at her spot unmoving. Great piece of skill there by the man himself as he proceeds upwards of the court. A second defender looms before him, and without any hesitation whatsoever, WJ executed 2 brilliant step-overs and dropped his shoulder, faking to his left and swerved to the right, AGAIN leaving the hapless player behind him. Suddenly, 3 players, all mighty defenders, swarmed towards Wj out of nowhere! His killer instinct and quick feet, however, proved too hot for these players to handle. Switching the ball to his left foot, he executed a RollerCoaster move(trademark of Ruud van Nistlerooy), instantly beating 2 defenders. Within a split second, he is free of the third defender courtesy of a simple spin-and-turn move. As he nears the goalmouth, a figure, so small but yet menacing appeared in the distance.

It was... Phamelia!

The soul of their team, the heart of their defence, and the anchor of their backline, Phamelia was indeed the Defender to beat! She was the last defender on the court, and her quiet but strong presence could even be felt by WJ himself. Her aura, emitting waves of resilience even caused the Man himself a slight shiver as he neared her.
Time to face the music, she snarled to WJ.
Shakened but determined to beat her, cunning WJ appeared to go left, and was instantly followed by Phamelia. However, in that vital moment, WJ used the outside of his right foot the push the ball upwards while he was bringing the ball to his left. That master of a move, coupled by the brilliance of WJ, brought about an OLE which left Phamelia standing there, all hope lost.
As WJ approached the Goalmouth, with 6 opposing players and 2 teammates watching, and praying for different causes, he saw the Goalie, all poised to pounce on the ball any moment! Being known in the whole world for his outrageous finishing, Wj, unnerved, took a ride on Lady Luck and glanced to his right, and shot to his left. The goalkeeper couldnt live up to her name, and was totally torn apart by this cheeky yet effective fake, just staring as the ball went past her."

It was over, WJ has scored a goal, and it was indeed a beauty. All these in the magical 10 seconds earned him the Man of the Match performance. He is such a great person, with great personality and is so humble despite posessing such magnificent skills.

In our Post-match interview,

Reporter: How do you feel scoring that goal?
WJ: All in a days work! It was indeed a team effort, without my team i couldnt ever score that goal. like they say, Football is about a team, not an individual. We must always remember that.

Reporter: What was the greatest obstacle on that court during the whole game?
WJ:I must say it was my goalie. He kept delivering nerve-wracking passes to me and even though i have such great skill, sometimes it will help if he sends the ball the right way! But i have to thank him, because it was he who started the 10 seconds of Magic.

Reporter: Just what is your real name?
WJ: That is for me to know, and for you to find out.

Reporter:Great guy, great words, indeed.
